Phones

Incoming calls- On the occasions that there is not a designated phone person and phones are being answered from the desk, patrons in person take priority. If the phone rings and there is a line, put the person on hold and buzz for backup.

Outgoing calls- The CSD phones are available for patrons to make a 3 minute or less outgoing phone call. Ask for the phone number the patron wants to call and dial it for them. Once dialed, hand the patron the receiver. Then we time to ensure they utilize the phone for 3 minutes or less.
