Lost and Paid Items

To make the item go lost:

  • Checkmark the box next to the item in the patron's record
  • Click Declare Lost
  • In the first drop-down menu, select Charge

To make the item go lost and also pay for it:

  • Checkmark the box next to the item in the patron's record
  • Click Declare Lost
  • In the first drop-down menu, select Pay

If a patron pays for a lost (not damaged) item, ring it up in the register under "lost and paid".

Then please give Amber a printout of the item's information, whether you make a copy of the Leap receipt, or screen capture the item information page. Amber will make sure the correct librarian knows the item is gone.
