Credit Card Transaction

The quick instructions for using a credit card:

(we're only supposed to take Visa or MasterCard, but other cards also work, as well as Apple Pay)

(Friends' book sales items can not be paid by credit card.)

1. Press green button if screen is blank

2. Swipe card, tap to pay or have patron insert chip card in slot (if chip card is used, it must stay in the slot until machine prompts you and the patron to remove it).

3. If prompted, ask patron if they want a credit or debit transaction.

5. Ask patron if they want a copy of the receipt

6. Ring transaction in register - use "charge" key for charge.

7. Paperclip white receipt to cash register receipt. Initial and put in register.
