Blocked Cards
- If a patron has a block on their card, check the notes first.
- Solano patron? Check notes to determine if patron has been sent to collection.
- if sent to collection:Do not accept payment or check in items. Send them to a Solano branch to mitigate issues. Issues must be resolved at a Solano branch.
This is what you will see in Polaris when a patron is sent to collection.

- Benicia patron:
- If a patron has three lost items, and/or a total owed of $49.99 or more, their card will be blocked from checking out more items.
- The patron must return enough items and/or pay for enough of them to go below these limits in order to check out items.
- If you can clear up the problem, remove the block and either delete the original note, or add an explanation, whichever makes more sense.
